Do the "+2" gear bonuses apply to the things that are specifically named, in addition to their generic counterparts?

Forgot to mention everyone gets one hand of God. Just in case something crits in a pointless situation and you go out as a casualty rather than dying in heroic struggle.

Thoughts on Tomich Characters

I think the Ranger is covered.

I am most intrigued by the min/maxed Elf. Longsword/Composite Bow is a classic D&D cliche.

Cleric/Rogue is useful and might be the most fun to play. If the team is heavy healing James could take the Master of Shapes. Or the team goes rogue and James takes the rogue warrior.

Looks like you and James need to decide the character of the group. If you guys go Rouge I think you should be Pillaging Vikings. If you go Healer Gallic Irish sailing to the ancestral home of the druids.

Sosa - Cleric Extrodinaire / Possible non healer

Roles filed Tank, Healer, Close DPS

James - Master of Shapes / Rogue
Tomich - Cleric / Elf / Ranger
Grayson - Nothing

Possible problems: Sosa's cleric from my understanding heals nothing but followers of Pelor. I am not sure if the group is fine with converting or if this is a position he will soften on but either way it is the biggest problem.

It appears James and Tomich need to decide who will be alt healer and who will be rogue.

That leaves AOE to Grayson.

When I think of Sosa's 13 year old cleric of Pelor the first question I have is "How does a 13 year old make level 10?". I picture a child prodigy. Queue the Montage:

Scene 1 A small blond child with two adoring parents both clerics of Pelor rejoice as their child's first words are heard "Pay Pay"

Scene 2 A young girl of 6 or 8 delivers a rousing sermon

Scene 3 10 year old girl hugs her parents good bye and heads off with a group of rough looking adventures

Scenes 4 -6 Zombies, beasts and Dragons ripping men apart in front of the girl

Scene 7 13 year old Cleric cleans her mace with a rag. She then craddle the mace in her arms and wraps it in the rag like a baby and pretends to rock it to sleep.

Kind of a heart breaking story really

Thoughts on Luke's Character

Luke made a treant ranger.

I began wondering what our world must look like to a tree creature. While trees are not treants they are related. So perhaps, the world looks something like a culture that lives inside structures made of skinned monkeys.

I wanted to have everyone land on shore at the same time by sailing into Cardiff. What would a sea voyage be for a tree? I picture Luke standing on the bow clutching a barrel of fresh water unable to go below deck were the wood moans and creaks under the pressure of the outside water.

Also, what awoke a treant? Did elves ask him to complete a task? Did Humans/Orcs hack down his forest? Does he awaken every few millenia and seek out adventure, make a few levels and then fall asleep and forget his past skills as his body changes?
